Very nice Picture Box/Shipping Box for a .41 Caliber Colt Thunderer Double Action Pistol (revolver) with a 3 1/2 inch barrel. Box is in fine condition, retaining most all of its original box top label, with minimal discoloration and separation issues. The underside of the lid still retains its "DIRECTION for using COLT'S .38 & .41 in. cal. RELOADING TOOLS." label with no rips or separation issues. The box top has "Sundries 1892" written in pencil sideways across the top, maybe written there for inventory reasons. The underside of the lid has B. Kittredge & Co., 166 Main St, Cinti (Cincinnati) Ohio written in pencil. Only one corner of the lid is split and there are no issues with the others. The bottom of the box retains most all of its original trim piece with assorted pencil writings. The inside of the bottom of the box is in excellent condition, with minimal soiling, and no corner problem of any kind. If you have one of these guns, you really need this box.
