Description:
Offered is a classic 1958 vintage Winchester in the popular .270 Winchester. Overall condition is very good. Blued finish is 98 0/0, triggerguard is 99.99 0/0, aluminum floorplate shows some blue wear on the edges (probably rates 95 0/0). Stock has no cracks or major flaws. Original plastic buttplate shows no chips or cracks. Wood shows some handling marks, as you would expect on a 60 year old hunting rifle. It comes with a like new Leupold 2.5X8 VariX III mounted in like new Leupold mounts. Overall, it is a very good example of the most popular caliber/configuration of the classic M-70 Winchester in very good condition. It would make Jack O'Connor proud. There is a lot of useable life remaining.
