Description:
A very rare Ross M1910 straight pull sporting rifle in 280 Ross.Built around 1920,this rifle is in outstanding all original condition.It has a 281/2" barrel with a bright bore.The rifle retains 95% of the original blue and wood finish.The stock is nicely checkered highly figured walnut and is free of any cracks or damage.The rear sight is a fold down express sight and the front sight is a banded hood sight. There is a place to install a peep sight but It appears that one has never been installed.This is a very rare rifle in this configuration.The Ross rifles were known for their accuracy and were used in competions prior to WWII.A nice piece of sporting history.C&R eligible.
