Inv. 7052 Quality Hardware U.S. M 1 Carbine Cal. .30, ser. 47664XX. This is a scacre maker in really minty condition. The barrel is correct and stamped Underwood, 6-44, Flaming Bomb. The gun has retained about 99% of the Rock Island Parkerizing. The only wear is from some very slight slide movement on the slide rails.The bolt is the later type, as is the rear sight, front barrel band and safety. The stock is super. There is very little finish still present but the wood is perfect, no dings, splits, or chips missing. The wrist is stamped Circle P, The bottom of the pistol grip is stamped H, and Boxed P. The right side is stamped Boxed RIA , Standard Prod. RWH and the sling inlet, IU. The top hand guard is the early two rivet type. The slide rails, bolt face and feed ramp show very little use. The bore is pristine, mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a touch of frost anywhere A really fine example of the scarce Quality Hardware Carbine that would be fine in a collection and super on the range........Shipped ..... Only... $1095.
