Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: In 1968 Winchester made the Buffalo Bill Commemorative Model 1894 in both a saddle ring carbine and a rifle.  Between the two models there were just over 112,000 total made.  This commemorative model features an engraved receiver, an octagon barrel, silver writing on the barrel and tang, a silver-finished saddle ring, trigger, hammer, locking block, forend cap, buttplate, and loading gate, and a deluxe Walnut stock set with a Buffalo Bill medallion inlaid in the right side of the buttstock.  This particular example is in lighly used condition but is still very attractive.  It would be perfect for someone that wants a Winchester Model 94 that they can shoot or hunt with that is more ornate than the standard Model 94.  The original blued finish on the barrel, bolt, and lever on this carbine rates 95%, with some small handling/wear marks visible under close inspection.  The original black factory finish on the receiver also rates 95%, with some small scattered scuffs and very small handling marks visible.  There are no extra holes in the receiver on top or on the sides, it shows no evidence of ever having a scope mount on it.  The bore in the 20" inch barrel is perfect and mirror-bright.  The rifling still looks new and there is no pitting, erosion, or imperfections visible. The original stock set is in great shape overall, free from any cracks, chips, or repairs.  The wood shows some handling marks and tiny little dings and dents but nothing that takes too much away from the attractive look of the stock set.  The Walnut shows some very attractive grain and figure, and the gloss finish is still bright on both pieces.  All of the stock hardware is in excellent condition including the original crescent buttplate, which is perfectly fit and tight to the wood.  The action on this Winchester is in perfect mechanical condition.  It works smoothly by hand and goes into battery nice and tight.  All of the controls on the rifle are in perfect working order.  We have no doubt that this Buffalo Bill Commemorative Model 94 saddle ring carbine would be an excellent shooter and fun range/farm toy for someone who enjoys the classics.     SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Winchester Model: Model 1894 Buffalo Bill Commemorative Saddle Ring Carbine Serial Number: WC81044 Caliber Info: .30-30 Winchester Bore: Excellent Condition: Good Barrels: 20" Inches Manufacture Date: 1968
