Description:
Original Model 1861, 58 caliber dated 1861 in full 3 band configuration. Metal mostly a smooth grey brown color with a little pitting between the tang and sight (visible in photos) also light pitting on the lock plate. Bore is dark but shows good rifling. The stock has been cleaned or lightly sanded with a chip repair next to the tang. Has an old (later) leather sling sling and original ram rod present. Mechanics are good and it functions good. Overall good condition early civil war musket ar a great price.
