Description:
We are offering for sale a very hard to find Remington NYLON 76 lever action rifle chambered in .22LR caliber. This was the only lever action that Remington ever made from 1962 to 1964. This appear to be a FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION rifle in very collectible condition.
19.5” barrel is excellent showing very little wear or blue loss. The bore remains bright and clean with excellent rifling. The receiver is very good to excellent with very light signs of freckling. No major loss or wear noted. The lever action functions flawlessly. The original brown marbled synthetic stock is very good with some surface marks noted on the buttstock; This is very common for these rifles. The fore-end/hand-guard area is very good with minimal surface wear. This rifle has a butt-end magazine plunger which remains excellent with perfect tip. “Nylond 76” grip cap.
