German POLICE Marked WWII Mauser HSc Pistol
With Fine Leather Holster and Extra Magazine
Here we present a Nazi German Police Marked Mauser HSc Pistol with an original Otto Sindel holster, made circa 1943. The Mauser HSc was a small pistol meant to compete on the commercial market with the likes of the Walther PP and quickly gained military acceptance. This example is “Eagle/L” Police marked and only one of 10,000 so marked.
This pistol is chambered in 7,65 Browning. It is double/single action, with a very minimal external hammer. It has a sleek design that is quite small but provides a nice full grip. The take down is very simple and clever, with the latch hidden inside the front of the trigger guard.
The pistol bears the German proof marks “Eagle/N” on the right side of the trigger guard and muzzle end of the slide. The left side of the slide bears the “MAUSER” makers mark as well as “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF a.N./MOD. HSC KAL 7.65mm”. The black leather holster is in fine condition and is marked “OTTO SINDEL/BERLIN/1943”. This rig contains a spare magazine as well.
The overall condition of the pistol is excellent. The original blue finish is 95%. The markings are clear and legible. The original wood grips are in fine shape. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action is excellent. Here is a super high-quality German pistol complete with a very nice holster.
