Description:
This 45-70 Hi Wall single shot rifle has a blued tapered octagon 1-1/16" to 15/16" x 27-1/2" barrel, that is fitted with an adjustable tang sight with windage and a blade front sight. The bore is excellent. Mounted on the barrel is a rear sight dovetail filler with Marbles Gladstone Mich USA stamped on it. Stamped on the top flat of the barrel is C Sharps Arms Co Inc Big Timber Montana USA Old Reliable Calibre 45 2-1/2. The P+ grade Walnut butt stock and forend are in good condition and fitted with a steel butt plate. The action, tang and butt plate have been color case hardened. An inscription plate with the words: Stinky...His Gun has been mounted on the right side of the butt stock. Length of pull is 14". Please Note: The barrel is stamped 45 2-1/2 BUT is chambered in 45-70. Factory wood to metal fit - made by C. Sharps Arms Co. - Big Timber, MT. Condition: Good. Our stock number is #A123.
