For Sale: 1960 Argentine Sistema Model 1927 NAVY crested pistol, 45 ACP, Only 3200 in total produced for the Navy, Matching serial numbers on frame, slide and barrel, non-matching 7rnd parkerized magazine. Bright and shiny barrel bore. Very nice original black oxide and translucent finish. This is a later manufactured model per the specific Navy roll marking on the right side of the slide. The Argentina government purchased a 20 yr contract with Colt allowing them to manufacture "perfect fit and finish" copies of the Colt M1911A1. Metal used is very high quality. Original plastic and wooded grips are included. The wooden grips, per research, are of the style put on Ballaster Molina model pistols but were also available for the Sistema(the two styles are not interchangeable). The grips were purchased by many military personnel because the black plastic grips are slippery under moist conditions. Very simple and honest layaway plans are available upon request as are additional photos.
