Description:
Model 1861 U.S. Bridesburg civil war musket in overall good plus Cond. Lockplate with eagle over U.S. Bridesburg and 1862 date. All metal is smooth with age stain and pitting in bolster area with faint proof markings. Bore is good but aged brown. Stock is good with some old repair at back band and remains of a cartouche on left flat. Bayonet is very good. Gun is 100% complete and original and has been in my collection for 35 years.
