This gladiator luftschutz helmet is an early one ,stamped RL 2- 38/28 ,WITH DECAL, Vertrieb genehmigt germab 8 Luftschutzgesetz Kopfweite 54. This was the back bone of home defense with the anti aircraft defending, you can see in many of the news reels with flack guns being manned and all wear this type of helmet.a dangerous job during ww2. The swastica is missing ,but an easy replacement, the liner is in ruff shape ,but mostly complete. The original blue paint is in good shape. 859-533-5445 price does not include shipping.
