#106259, Waffenfabrik Mauser - Oberndorf a/n: A Commercial Mauser Single Square Bridge Sporter Action in Standard Length, Made in 1930 and was the action for a 9.3 x 62 Model B Commercial Sporter Rifle ordered by Charles Heyer in Nairobi, Bolt face for standard cartridges like 7x57 - 30-06 etc., Not drilled or tapped on top or for any side mount, Magazine box with a center bow release for a hinged floorplate; All serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt, trigger, bolt stop, safety, floorplate, cocking piece, bolt sleeve and extractor, This action remains totally original except the top of the square bridge was polished without any dimension change, It is in excellent condition, The original blue still remains at 88%, The bolt face looks like the day it left the banks of the Neckar River 89 years ago. Jon Speed, the author of the famous Mauser book has this #106259 listed on record as going to Chas. A. Heyer & Co. in Nairobi. He was an importer for Mauser Rifles into British and German East Africa.
