If only this little carbine could talk. An original French Berthier Model 1916 Carbine in 8x50R Lebel caliber. Carbine has been arsenal upgraded one or more times including wood repairs, etc. and bore remains about good plus with some darkening to the grooves but with strong lands - should make a good shooter. Even has the original military leather sling. A nice representative French carbine.
