Offered for sale is a rare find Belgium made, grade 2, semi automatic Browning .22lr takedown rifle in the original box. It appears as though this rifle may not have been fired. The two halves of the rifle were still in the original wax paper, that the guns were shipped with. The paper has deterioted but still in the original box along with the owners manual. This gun was manufactured in 1968 It is a GRADE II with the gray and engraved receiver and gorgeous wood. Although listed is a grade II the wood, by today's standards would be typical of Grade V or VI wood. Overall. the gun is pristine. I found a small mark on the forearm wood, on the left side, which buts to the receiver when assembled. I tried to show this in one of the pictures. I have not been able to find an engraver's mark or signature.
This is a perfect BAR .22 to ad to any collection. It has all the important characteristics, High grade wood, siver/gray engraved receiver, original box and manual, Belgium made and most likely unfired.
