Description:
This is a Featherweight model in 300 Sav. Caliber built around 1954-55. This gun is in fantastic original condition holding 95+% blue overall, with a few small marks that hardly show, and great wood with sharp checkering and only minor handling marks. Original metal buttplate and pistol grip cap intact. No sling lugs have ever been added to the stock. There is a small amount of water stain at the base of the stock where it meets the butt plate (photo 3), but no cracks or repairs to the stock.This gun is factory drilled and tapped for a scope, and has a vintage El Paso Texas Weaver K 2.5 scope . Front sight is a raised bead, with a dovetail blank in the midrange slot. The bore is mint with strong rifling in the 22" round barrel. This is a very, very nice 99F for it's age, that would be hard to improve upon. Continuous 48 states only. Add $45.00 for postage and insurance.
