ONE OF THE BEST 1917 U.S. ARMY .45 ACP REVOLVERS I’VE OFFERED! This example is numbered 66XXX and is matching on cylinder, barrel and frame. It retains nearly all the original blue with only the slightest of edge wear on the sharp edges of the cylinder and maybe a touch at the muzzle. Mechanics are tight and even the front of the cylinder retains about all the blue. Has all the correct military markings on the butt and a clear and sharp “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” stamping on the bottom of the barrel along with the correct small eagle head proofs on the left side of the frame at the rear of the trigger guard bow and inside the crane by the serial number, flaming bomb stamped, exc. smooth walnut grips, lanyard swivel intact. About as nice as one could hope to find.
