Marlin Model 1893 Rifle fitted with a 26 inch round barrel, full length tube magazine, Lyman tang sight with screw in globe aperature disk, semi buck-horn rear sight, blade front sight, walnut forearm and straight grip stock with steel crescent butt-plate, blue finished except for a color case-hardened finished receiver, bolt and lever, and chambered in 30-30. The rifle is in fine original condition, retaining 95% blue on the barrel and magazine tube. The forend cap and hammer retain 60% of their original blue finishes. The butt-plate and tang-sight retain about 85% of their original blue finishes. The lever retains 70% of its original vivid case colors, the receiver about 80%, with most loss on the rear/left side of the receiver. The forearm retains most all of its original finish, with assorted handling marks. The stock retains most of its original finish, with assorted minor handling marks, a gash on the left side at the grip and a "172" stamped on the right side of the grip (rack number?).
