antique COLT BURGESS lever action RIFLE 44-40 RARE made 2521 with 25 1/2" octagon barrel from 1883 to 1885, good bore strong rifling very minor pitting,when you look in the breach i used a flashlight it makes it look like it has the wrong color it is just from the flashlight,finish turned to plum brown,has the rampant Colt on receiver,(Burgess's patents )on lever,wood forend does not have any cracks or breaks, butt stock has a repair near butt plate with a screw see pics, other wise sound wood to metal fit is excellent see pics.full magazine 15 shot,all complete no cleaning rod in butt,functions as it should nice tight rifle.this is an antique no FFL required can be sent DIRECTLY TO YOU IF LEGAL IN YOUR STATE,must be 18 years of age to buy.buyer pays ship & insurance
