The Ruger Super Redhawk model is one of the toughest and most reliable .44 magnum double-action revolvers of all time. Ruger introduced the model in 1987 and it has been going strong ever since. This particular .44 magnum example has a satin finish and a 7.5" inch barrel with a fluted cylinder. It has the sought-after wood and rubber combination factory grips and was manufactured in 2004. It is in excellent all-original condition and has obviously spent the majority of it's life in storage. The satin stainless steel finish rates 98% plus, and you really have to look hard to find the 2% of deductions. The bore in the 7.5" inch barrel is minty and bright. The rifling still has sharp lands and grooves and there is zero pitting, erosion, or visible imperfections of any kind. The cylinder bores are just as clean as the barrel. The original factory grips are in excellent condition. They do not show any wear, scratches, dings, dents, or repairs. All of the controls on this Ruger are in perfect working order including the adjustable rear target-style sight. The action is nice and smooth on this Super Redhawk whether it is cocked by hand or the trigger is pulled in double action. It is perfectly "in time" and the cylinder locks up perfectly. This Ruger Super Redhawk comes with the original box with an intact end-label and original factory lock. It does not have the owner's manual or the factory rings, they were misplaced at some point over the last 15 years. If you have been looking for a super clean and beautiful Super Redhawk for your collection this is your chance to get an excellent lightly-used example.
