Description:
We have had dozens of 700 BDL's vintage and some older but not vintage, this is likely in the finast condition of any we've had and in true collector condition. All blued surfaces, stunning honey colored Walnut stock with correct Alum. butt plate and even the floor plate and pg cap are excellent and more or less unmarked. Still has correct front and rear sights and sight hood.
It is not NEW but aprox as nice as any over 50 yr old gun could be other than NIB. It has clearly not been carried in the woods. It comes with the period correct Weaver 2.5 x 7 scope and useful swing away mount which allows the scope to swing off to the left in the event it gets snow or is fogged for quick access to the open sights. The scope has std fine CH and the optics appear to be perfectly clear and bright. Cross Hairs are centered and not comprimised.
