U.S. Model 1861 Contact Musket by Norfolk .58 caliber. Great looking U.S. Model 1861 contract musket by Norfolk. Total production was 18,000. Musket is in very good condition. Wood shows minor handling wear with a visible cartouche. Metal is in the white with some spots of staining. Lock plate and barrel are dated 1863. Very good 1861 contract Civil War musket!
