U.S. Springfield Model 1816 Type III Flintlock Musket. Musket is in great condition. Metal has been cleaned and has pin-prick pitting on the surface. Barrel and lock plate are dated faintly 1831. Stock is good, shows a repair on rear of lock plate. Faint cartouche is present. Good looking 1816 Springfield.
