U.S. Springfield Model 1816 Flintlock Musket by Whitney. U.S. Springfield Model 1816 Flintlock Musket by Whitney in good condition. Lock plate and breach plug is dated 1839. Stock shows traces of cartouches. Metal is a dark patina. Barrel has a weld spot from where it was reconverted back to flintlock from percussion. Great looking 1816 flintlock!
