Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. The Remington Model 700 is one of the most famous, and most popular bolt action rifles ever made, so much so that it is still in production 55 years after its introduction! The Model 700 rifle has been used all over the world by hunters, military snipers, police, and match target shooters. The Model 700 BDL LSS is built for long range shooting and dangerous game hunting. It has a 26”, matte stainless barrel. The stock is a beautiful Monte Carlo style with grey-tinted laminate wood and features two recoil bracing pins for stock strength. The bipod fitted is a Harris 1A2 Ultralight. Mounted on the rifle is a powerful Tasco 10-40x50mm scope equipped with a long sunshade. The rifle is chambered for the .300 Remington Ultra Magnum which is a cartridge of exceptional power. It is designed to shoot the heaviest .30-caliber bullets to the same ranges that the .300 Win Mag and the 300 Weatherby Mag can reach but with much more power. When first tested in 1999, the 300 RUM delivered nearly 18 percent greater retained energy than the .300 Weatherby and about 27 percent more than the 300 Win Mag. This is due to the 300 RUM’s use of a full body cartridge over the older belted design the other 300 Magnums use. The BDL is in excellent condition. The stainless finish exhibits no scratches or other wear marks. The bore is in great condition and appears to have had less than a box of ammo through it. The scope exhibits surface wear with respect to the rubber coating on the body. Otherwise the scope is fully functional. As with any magnum-chambered Remington 700, magazine capacity is 3 rounds. The Remington 700 is one the best rifles on the market, and the .300 RUM is one of the most powerful cartridges out there. If you are looking for a good long-range shooter the BDL LSS is a fine choice.
