Description:
This is a very nice Springfield Armory model 1903 in .30-06 Sprg. The rifle has a 24 inch barrel with military sights and a good bore, the barrel is dated 8-42. The finish on the steel is very good but a little dull on the receiver and shows combat marks. The walnut straight grip stock is sound and solid but looks to have had a light sanding and new finish applied. All in all a very nice rifle.
