Description:
Caliber 44 RF. Gun is identified in Wiley Sword's Henry book as being one of the secondary Henry Rifles used in the Civil War. 7600 serial range. Receiver is untouched with a deep butterscotch color. Wood retains most original varnish with traces of a cartouche on the left side. Correct sling swivels. Nice functioning action. Fair bore that needs a good cleaning. Metal has sharp corners and good markings. Correct sights. Barrel has turned mostly a grey color with traces of blue in protected areas. Gun is excellent inside and out.
