This is an As New in Display Case Colt 1911 WWII Commemorative of the Asiatic-Pacific Theater pistol in .45 ACP. This is a sharp looking pistol with a bright nickel finish with palm frond engraving and dark wood grips with gold Colt medallions. The pistol comes in a bamboo looking display case with a picture of the Japanize surrender on September 2th 1945, 7 silver plated dummy rounds and a plaque. This pistol remains unfired since being shipped in 1970 and is 1 of 11,500 made.
