W9880 Winchester 97 16 Gauge shotgun. Unusual 16 Gauge model ’97 Manufactured in 1941. Barrel is marked “16 GA 2¾ MOD”. Bore is excellent. Gun has 95-97% original blue. Stocks are very good. Original butt plate is excellent with no chips or cracks. Action works perfectly. Seldom seen 16 Gauge with the barrel marking. 1941 production. Possibly only available in 16 Gauge due to 12 Gauge production was going to the military for WWII.
