Description:
Winchester Model 62 "5 SPOT" gallery gun 22 short. Manufactured approx 1935, includes the triangular shaped loading port. The barrel has the standard Winchester markings and the factory proof stamped on the top of the barrel. The straight grip walnut stock features "5 SPOT" burned onto the left side and the marking is painted in red and white. One explanation for the origin of the "5 SPOT" marking relates to a large gallery gun shooting operation in Michigan that was named the 5 Spot Shooting Gallery. Collector quality, sorry no box is included with this gun. Must ship to an FFL. $2800.00 plus shipping.
