Description:
Up for sale is a large lot of various original  antique U.S. Military tools and parts, dating from the mid-1800's to the mid-1900's. The series of attached pictures show exactly what the lot consists of.

I have consulted Shaffner and Rutledge's Gun Tools and Their History and Identification, and believe the following tools are included in this lot:

1- 1855 Model Combo Tool (Vol 1, 156)
4- Model 1863 Combo Tool (Vol 1, pp 157-8)
?3- 1863 Model wipes (Vol 1, P 110)
4- 1855 Model Tumbler & Wire Punch (Vol 1, p 254)

3 - Post CW (1868?) Sharps Conversion Screw Drivers (vol 1, p 91)
2- 1870 Model Carbine Tool (Vol 1, p 167)
6- 1871 Remingon Rolling Block Carbine Comination Tool (Vol 1, 90)
3. Model 1879 Combination Tool (Vol 1, p 168-9)

10-US Model 1903 Springfield Rifle Combination Tools,  (Vol I, p 172), including one marked original issue paper envelope
1 - US Model 1911 Pistol Combination (Vol 1, p. 171)
1- 1st Model US M1 Rifle COmbination Tool (Vol 1, p 198)

Your own knowledge or reference sources may identify these tools differently. Whatever the pictures show is what you will get.

The antique parts shown in the pictures appear to reflect:

31 - end caps reflecting ramrod channels
10- barrel bands
4 - carbine sling bars
4- bayonet locking clasps
3 - mainsprings

These parts would all appear to come from black powder guns, but I would not speculate as to which guns. Again, your own knowledge or reference sources may identify them appropriately. Whatever the pictures show is what you will get.

The price of  the lot is $375, plus cost of shipping to a purchaser in the continental U.S.

Sorry, I do not do international transactions. I do not accept payment by credit cards or Pay Pal. Item will ship when your choice of funds clears.

Please Note: I am just an old guy who collected guns, parts and civil war memorabilia for many years who is liquidating his collection. I do not make my living buying and selling these items. My comments on any particular item being sold are based on my knowledge as a collector, my examination of the the item, my research, and my comparison with other similar items. The pictures I post are intended to give you what you need to make a fair assessment of the item being sold. Please study these closely. If you find there is some detail that is unclear, let me know and I will get you that detail if it exists.
