Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Certified Check, Money Order Description: Antique Joslyn Model 1864 Civil War Cavalry Carbine Much Used Union Cavalry Carbine with Initials “L.A.F.” Here we present an antique Joslyn Model 1864 Civil War Cavalry Carbine, made circa 1864 in Stonington, Connecticut. 8,000 of these carbines were purchased by the Union during the American Civil War, and they were heavily allocated to cavalry regiments such as the 4th and 8th Indiana, 19th New York, 13th Tennessee, 9th Pennsylvania, 3rd West Virginia, 2nd Wisconsin, 1st Nebraska, 1st Nevada and 11th Ohio. This specimen is in very good condition. The walnut stock is very good, with the usual old handling marks typical of a Civil War weapon. The “B. Joslyn” mark is still present on the left side of the stock. Nice bluing on the barrel. Bore is very good. Action is excellent. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 22 inches in length. Caliber: .52 rimfire Bore is in good condition and the firearm is in good working order. Overall condition as seen in photos.
