Exactly as shipped from the CMP on 6-30-2000. U.S Re-Arsenaled post WWII. Complete with S.A. “1-51” barrel. Other than the most minor cycling wear on receiver and gas cylinder lock the metals overall arsenal finish rates at appx 90% to 95%. The Bore appears Exc. Plus with throat gauging at only a 3-1/2. A most excellent example of the early Pre WWII SA M1 Garand with SN# 765281 that was originally manufactured September 1940! Later Re-Arsenaled after WWII, then put into light serviceand sent to the CMP then later sold through the CMP Program. Used serviceable wood set with normal wear as to be expected rates appx VG+! action/mechanically fine, Comes with original CMP shipping box, Invoice, certificate of Authenticity and manual. *Note: All information is intact except all owners personal information is removed.
