Danish issued. U.S. Re-Arsenaled post WWII. Exactly as shipped from the CMP on 6-27-2002. Complete with a Danish “VAR 2-61” barrel. Normal wear on receiver from cycling. Finish on receiver rates at approx. 90%! Bore appears Exec Plus! With throat gauging at only a 2. . (‘’Barrel Chamber In The White’’) A most excellent example of the early WWII SA M1 Garand with SN# 430,604 that was originally manufactured January 1942! Later Re-Arsenaled after WWII, then sold to Denmark. Later returned to the U.S.A. by way of the CMP. Then later sold through the CMP Program. Used serviceable wood set with new replaced rear hand guard and the Danish I.D. disc is absent. Overall Metal finish rates appx. 90% to 95%. Bore (see above), action/mechanically fine, Comes with orig. box and ALL original paperwork including original ‘’CMP/Government’’ Sales papers that list this as a Danish M1 GARAND on both Invoice and Certificate of Authenticity! *Note: All information is intact except all owners personal information is removed.
