Exactly as shipped from the CMP on 12-7-1999. This is a very late SA m1 Garand as originally manufactured in early 1956 then at some later date it was U.S Re-Arsenaled but still retains its SA factory original ‘’S.A. 1-56’’ barrel! Also the Bore with only a dry patch ran through it appears Excellent+/Minty with throat gauging at only a 3! Other than virtually none of the usual cycling wear on receiver and an ever so slight rack mark on the barrel the metals overall arsenal finish rates at appx 98%. A most excellent example of the mid 1950’s SA M1 Garand. Later Re-Arsenaled, then put into light service and sent to the CMP then later sold through the CMP Program. Used serviceable wood set with normal wear as to be expected rates easily at VG+ or better! Action/mechanically fine, *Still has the original arsenal tag on the front sight! Comes with original CMP shipping box, Invoice, Paperwork and manual. *Note: All information is intact except all owners personal information is removed.
