Description:
Serial #7090, .22 LR, 11" matted octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome pistol that retains 85-90% of the original blue on the Bohler Stahl barrel with some fading at the muzzle, and along the facet edges. Additionally, there is some mild freckling around the front sight base. The engraved frame has muted color case-hardening turning into a smooth, mottled gray patina, and the receiver ring is marked: “RECORD / MATCH / PISTOLE / MOD. 210". The exposed gripframe has areas of dark varnish along the edges of the left grip panel, and there is a very small and unobtrusive import mark on the underside of the barrel. The conformal walnut target grips are in fine shape with scattered minor handling marks and small blemishes, under a thick added varnish. The left panel also has a carved double oak leaf vignette on the top end. The action and lock-up are tight and fully functional, and the original precision target sights are still present. This is a fine example of a pre-WW2 free pistol overall. FFL or C&R
