Description:
A 1866 medal for employment in the Fenian raid of 1866. This piece is named to a Lt. M.M. Tait of the Richmond Infantry Co. This was a small unit of only 19 men. The recipient of this medal, Lt. Tait was probably the only officer of the unit. A very good example of a rare Fenian raid medal.
