Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Description:
This is an original Remington 700 BDL manufactured in June of 1972 according to the barrel date code (PW). It is in good condition for its age. The muzzle has some bluing loss. The bore appears to have been cleaned frequently but there may be tiny amounts of powder residue or copper fouling left. The stock is a beautiful Monte Carlo with black tip, white line spacers, and elegant checkering. It exhibits minor wear, mostly on the left side. The scope is an unusual ATN 8-24x75mm. The wide objective bell allows for a better field of view than an ordinary scope provides. It also allows for a greater intake of light, making it easier for the user to see their target. The target will be crisp and clear to the shooter’s eye. Combined with the classic .300 Win Mag, this would make a very effective long-range hunting rifle. The scope mount has had part of the base cut out to allow for operation of the bolt. The Remington 700 has always made a good rifle for long-range shooting, and one in 300 Win Mag would certainly be suited for the job.
