Merkel 47SL Sidelock Ejector, 12 Bore, 6 lbs. 12 oz., 3" chambers, 28" Krupp steel barrels with a raised concave machined game rib, choked .009 IC and .015 Lt. Mod, sidelock action in coin finish with some scroll engraving extending to the fences and breech end of barrels, cross-bolt, sideclips, cocking indicators, disc-set strikers, automatic safety, double triggers, splinter forend, highly figured European walnut stock, 15" LOP over a leather covered pad, 1 9/16" DAC, 2 7/16" DAH, 1/8" cast off, straight grip. Excellent condition showing little use. Comes with the early Merkel hard canvas and leather luggage case.You don't see many Merkel sidelocks. 1990's era gun.
