Description:
L.C. Smith 12g Ideal Grade made in 1948. Sidelock with typical Ideal grade engraving and a non-automatic safety. Factory Beavertail forearm, single selective trigger and ejectors. Nicely figured feather crotch stock has a capped pistol grip and a 14” LOP over a Whiteline pad. Original 26” barrels are choked Cylinder and Imp. Cylinder with 2 ¾" chambers and the standard raised matted rib. Gun’s barrels have shiny bores and good wall thickness and are tight on face. The trigger seems to work fine and the ejectors kick and are timed. Stock has the typical small cracks behind the locks but otherwise appears to be sound.
