I am not sure if this was a special order rifle or that Winchester only manufactured a few of these Model 70 Classics in
300 Weaterby Magnum caliber. At any rate it is a beauty,( see the pictures ) I bought the gun new in Dallas in the early 80's and have not fired it.
The rifle comes with a 26 inch barrel and factory muzzle brake. The bolt action is of the pre 64 type with the claw extractor that is jewelled.. Factory red butt pad and quite nice dark walnut stock. not a mark on it Guys.
I have mounted a 4X German Weatherby scope with engraved Redfield rings that can be purchased for an additional cost.
