Please take a look at this Address just pasted into your browser. This was a rifle sold by Switzer’s and Apprasial in Canada and it was sold as an original Winchester Unaltered as I was told on the phone by Paul Switzer twice.these people advertise themselves as appraisers. The gun came to me as a total restoration and when I confronted them on it they play dumb. People need to be informed about fakery on the Internet and people that are out there to harm the collecting community. Issues not mentioned in the were total restoration busted butt stock that had been repaired,a chiped toe repair, spurious stamping of the assembly number on the butt stock, Buttplate, forend cap, also the forend wood is from a round barrel gun.
