30", ALL FACTORY FINISHES, SKELETON BUTT

General Specs: Parker, Year 1924, 16 Gauge, 7lbs 2oz, SxS
Serial Number: 206615

In the world of vintage American shotguns, Parker reigns supreme.  Parker Gun Collectors Association is unquestionably the longest standing, bestanized of the collector’s associations focusing on double shotguns, Parker has the most recognizable name, and Parker in fact made some of Americas finest shotguns.  Most agree that the DH Grade is the first grade to show fine engraving with game scenes, well figured wood with drop points and fancy checkering, fine Titanic steel barrels, and that highly desirable Parker Skeleton butt plate…the features that bring pride with owning a fine Parker shotgun.  They made only 1178 DH Grade Parkers in 16ga., only  600 or so had ejectors, and only 303 had long, graceful 30” barrels.  This fine Parker, SN206615 made in 1924, is one of the 303 made.  With nice figure in its walnut stocks, perfect wood to metal fit, excellent screws, clear sharp engraving, strong well-timed ejectors, 30" Titanic Steel barrels, excellent mechanics and shooting dimensions, it is the perfect upland bird and vintage clays gun.  FINDING FACTORY ORIGINAL PARKER GUNS IS GETTING HARDER EACH DAY.  For those of you that want them UNTOUCHED, this is your gun!  There are few left that still retain the original Skeleton Butt Plate!  The 35% factory case colors are clean and vivid.  The factory blue is 93%.  The wood is gorgeous without a crack or repair anywhere, with excellent checkering. This Parker is in top condition and priced to be an affordable, highly engraved, collector quality treasure for your shooting pleasures.  A fine Parker for now and generations to come.  Thanks for looking!
