Nosler was first known for its quality ammunition for sporting rifles, then came into its own as the maker of high-quality, guaranteed accurate, premium rifles, and now is known for some of the most advanced proprietary ammunition on the planet. The M48 Heritage is a hand-fitted rifle produced in Oregon with the utmost of care. There is a great article on line. Go to this gun listing on our company and the link is there. The Heritage is for those that like a traditional rifle with walnut stock, shadow-line cheek piece, and a factory recoil pad on their magnum rifles. The barrel is hand-lapped, stainless steel, Cerakote finished and precisely glass bedded for accuracy. The hand-tuned trigger breaks super-crisp at 3lbs., and the rifle just feels “right” in hand. It would be hard to find a better rifle at this price. It is a hand-tuned, American made, intelligently built rifle that is affordable to the guy who can’t, or doesn’t want to, break the bank for a great rifle.
