Description:
This is a British boxlock non-ejector shotgun in 16 gauge with 28” barrels, concave rib. Weighs 6 lbs. 14 ½” LOP to a ribbed horn buttplate. Cast off for right handed shooters. DAC is 1 ½”; DAH is 2 1/8”. It is proofed for 2/34” shells. Greener third fastener. Chokes are Improved Cylinder and Full. shiny bores. barrel blueing is near 100 %. Non-automatic safety. This gun has been refinished sometime along its journey, as such it is in v. good refinished condition. I have been told it is what is known in England as a “tradegun”; the barrels are marked “S Braybrook Donham Market”. My guess is this is a Birmingham made gun.
