Description:
This is a 1929 DWM "Sneak"/Police Arsenal Rework Luger in 9mm with 4" barrel. There is no chamber date and the toggle is stamped DWM. It is all matching numbers including the reworked magazines and there is a Waffen Amt [WaA66] Odnance Dept. proof stamp on right side. The front grip strap is unit marked "L. Ar. 282" . It is fitted with correct police sear safety. Pistol retains 85% original blue, with most thinning on the front and back strap and high spots of the receiver and barrel. The straw parts retain most all of their finishes and the grips fit well with sharp checkering. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling and the action functions perfectly. The holster was made by A. Fischer Berlin C.2 in 1929 and is also matching unit stamped. Comes with a take-down tool, also stamped with the number of the unit (282). Very desirable "Sneak" Luger.
