Description:
This Ruger Model New Vaquero is a John Wayne Centennial six shot single action revolver. It has a 4.5 inch barrel and uniquely checkered walnut grip panels that display a carved "JW. Specially seialized by the factory with the prefix "JW". The deep blue polished frame, cylinder and barrel are tastefully embellished with scrollwork. The loading gate, recoil shield and back strap are also beautifully enhanced. John Wayne's signature in 24kt gold decorates the barrel. Inspiration for the classic American scroll on this firearm was by artist Lee R. Griffiths. In overall excellent condition it comes as is in a Ruger John Wayne red hard case and John Wayne sleeve.
