I never saw a better 256 cal 62 than this one, in my collection for over 20 yrs! Blue is mint, and wood is 98% with two minor safe marks, factory swivels, some late 62's had black plastic around the trigger group on bottom, this has all metal on bottom. sights are both original w/hood on front ! These early 62's had no ser. number, doubt you could find a better one, this caliber is perfect for coyotes out to 200 yds and more! These rifles were Factory drilled for a scope, with their capabilities at long range they should have one however, this rifle has never had a scope on it !! A perfect collectable or great varmint rifle !
