The Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer Improved Model 1952 is a true "classic" rifle from the 1950's. Graceful and elegant in design but yet very well-made, the Model 1952 rifle was constructed with the finest materials available at that time by expert gunsmiths. The attention to detail and superb fit and finish are evident when handling this rifle. This beautiful rifle features a gloss blue factory finish on all of the metal parts, a 24" inch barrel with factory iron sights, a rear-angled spoon-shaped bolt handle, an internal rotary 5-shot magazine (can be removed for cleaning/service), a single trigger, and a hand-cut checkered Walnut stock with a cheekpiece, ebony forend, butt plate, sling swivels, and a pistol grip cap. This rifle is 100% original and has not been altered or "improved" in any way other than adding optics and mounts.
