Description:
This International Harvester M-1 rifle is in great shape! The entire upper half appears to be original and correct to the receiver, including original LMR 5/53 barrel, IHC marked op rod, rear sight drums, bolt, and gas lock plug. Trigger group is all Springfield, with WWII era milled trigger guard. Stock appears to be a later addition, with rack number stamped just behind rear of the receiver. Barrel is import marked, but fortunately the receiver is not. All metal surfaces appear to still be in their original parkerized finish, with the usual wear but no areas of pitting. All in all, a neat example of a scarce Garand that's ready to hit the range again!
